SB 149 (Don Harmon) Amends the Illinois Safety and Regulation Act to expand the board of review to include a member from the condominium association community, other extensive changes. Signed into law: Public Act 96-0054

SB 154 (Susan Garrett) Amends the ICPA.  Owners delinquent in their assessments for a period of more than 60 days may vote on bylaw revisions but shall not be counted towards a quorum.  Signed into law: Public Act 96-0055

HB 155 (LaShawn Ford) Amends the ICPA to provide that in the event of a sale of a condo unit by a unit owner, no condo association shall exercise any right of first refusal, option to purchase or right to disapprove the sale, on the basis of the type of financing used by the purchaser. HB 688 (Marlow Colvin) Amends the ICPA. Provides legislative finding concerning the importance of municipalities reclaiming housing stock that was used in fraudulent schemes. Signed into law: P.A. 96-0174
