This is workshop to demonstrate how to use planning methods and consensus standards suggested by the Project Management Institute to plan a capital project for your HOA or Condo Association. The project life cycle phases of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) will be emphasized. Management consultant, Brandon Hamilton, will demonstrate the techniques of planning a hypothetical project followed by specific plans for preparing an annual report, planning a budget, a simple construction project, and repairing a roof using software.
